Prism supported the pilot installation of Fault Detection Diagnostic (FDD) technologies in two municipal buildings with the City of Calgary.
Prism researched available commercial grade FDD software tools for continuous energy optimization and provided evaluations and recommendations based on selected criteria. Prism also supported the procurement process including detailed product specifications and preselected a small subset of buildings most suitable for the pilot project.
Once the software was procured, Prism provided implementation support, staff engagement and training for the transition.
The work completed resulted in an informed purchasing decision for the FDD system, increased occupant comfort and energy savings.
